Wisconsin Parental Choice Program

Bay City Christian School participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP). WPCP allows eligible students to attend private, religious schools tuition-free through a voucher provided by the state. This program gives more families access to the outstanding education at Bay City.

BCCS will be accepting applications for students entering four-year old kindergarten through 12th grade from parents who wish to enroll their children through WPCP. Parents will be asked to provide proof of residency and the AGI from their recent tax return. Families can earn no more than 220% of the federal poverty level. The BCCS Business Office must verify a completed application.

Act 55 of our Wisconsin state law requires that schools post their current School Report Card, developed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, on their school websites. In addition, schools must provide a list of educational options. Below you will find links to this information.

This is the process:

  • Complete the WPCP application online through the Department of Public Instruction between the first Monday in February and the third Thursday in April each year. If an application is not submitted on time, it will NOT be accepted. This is a state-run program and NO exceptions will be made. Use the following link to access the online application:
  • http://dpi.wi.gov/sms/choice-programs/student-applications  Supply the Business Office with (1) a bill for a utility, cable, or landline phone as proof of residency, and (2) income documentation such as a copy of your most recent taxes or W2 form. Remember, all documents must be presented to the office prior to the third Thursday of April deadline for applications.
  • Students new to Bay City still need to complete BCCS application paperwork.
